热轧钢板分为构造钢、低碳钢、焊瓶钢，热轧钢板硬度低，加工容易，延展性能好。冷轧板硬度高，加工相对艰难些，但是不易变形，强度较高。热轧钢板强度相对较低,外表质量差但塑性好，普通为中厚板、冷轧板、强度高、硬度高、外表光亮度高、普通为薄板，能够作为冲压用板。
